About Lindsey

Lindsey Mae Stimpson, a native of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, is an artist whose journey is deeply rooted in a family immersed in creativity. Growing up with a general contractor father and an interior designer mother, Lindsey's childhood was a canvas painted with inspiration. Her academic path led her to Meredith College, where she honed her skills in Studio Art, focusing on painting, alongside Business Administration.

Throughout her career, Lindsey has been actively involved in the arts, managing galleries, teaching various art classes, and contributing to the Alamance Arts Council. Currently, she dedicates her time to painting full-time at Beechwood Metalworks in Burlington, NC. Balancing her daytime work at Beechwood with evening sessions in her home studio, Lindsey constantly produces art and welcomes commissioned projects.

For Lindsey, art is more than a career; it's a means of bringing people together. She believes in the unifying power of art, its ability to ignite curiosity, initiate conversations, and break barriers. Lindsey's artistic mission is to spread color and evoke smiles, creating a vibrant tapestry that connects people through the universal language of art.
